Notes(P) 1989 (C) 1989 Francis Dreyfus Music / Jean-Michel Jarre.
Jean-Michel Jarre’s concert in London’s Docklands, initially scheduled for September 24th, 1988, was first cancelled, then, despite political issues and weather conditions, split into two concerts on October 8th and 9th.
In the apocalyptical setting of the docks, half in ruins, half restored, with graffiti, a sense of violence, and one-time warehouses clashing with more recent architectural styles, Jean-Michel Jarre and his musicians were acclaimed, under heavy rain, by more than 200.000 Englishmen.
Destination Docklands is the film of the concert shot by 18 cameras that will share with you this unique adventure. [translated from French]
